POLYNESIAN FISH - SEPTEMBER 2004

This post is a pause in people's tours to show some fish travel...


"BASIN - The Intercontinental has a basin where they feed some tropical fish and reproduce some corals. One of the days, Jean-Pierre decided to photograph most of the existing species, and I chose some of the photos to show here!"

sheeeshhh u got some great shots!!! I love the pic fifth one down and that rainbow looking fish is crazy unusual! How lucky to have seen these in such clear waters

I agree with Kala these are awesome shots. The sea looks so clear and the fish are beautiful. I can't believe the colour of the sea it's stunning.

The fish were nice and the sea water was clear, but actually there is a trick: the hotel keeps the fish in a basin with sea water but no direct connection with the sea. Tourist trap...

Yeah, purple. Is that for real? I'd love to see purple coral. But nasty hoteliers.

I have always wanted to visit this place. Thank you for the wonderful photos - of course, it isn't as good as being there, but right now it is better than being here, in the snow. Yes, sadly, they've announced that it will snow again today.
