WASHINGTON DC AFTER 9/11

WOODLEY PARK - OCTOBER 2001

After 9/11, the Americans insisted in having a meeting in Washington D.C. We stayed somewhere out of the town centre, near Woodley Park, and security was very tight, including K-nine agents... A few photos were taken on the occasion.

"NATIONAL ZOO - The highlights of the Zoo - which was not far from the Hotel - are the pandas. Unfortunately, in the photo the panda was a bit far from sight. However, the elephants were achieving a fantastic performance..."

"ROCK CREEK PARKWAY, a nice place to stroll away!"

"KALORAMA HEIGHTS - Autumn colours..."

"VIEW from the Hotel room"

"WARDMAN PARK MARRIOT"

"REMEMBERING"

"THE PORTUGUESE EMBASSY - A nice building"

"GEORGETOWN - One of the best spots in D.C. Here we have the Watergate Building, the JFK Center for the Performing Arts and the Potomac..."
